Matt Harper decided to be the first guest on the podcast with a vast resume of experience in the world of ticket sales. First, Florida State, then Disney’s Wide World of Sports where Harper sold tickets for Spring Training Baseball & Football, then as Director of Ticket Sales at Seattle University. Harper has spent the last two seasons as the Regional Rep for IMG-Learfield at San Jose State, using the proactive ticket sales model that has flourished in the college ranks since Matt DiFebo started his own company. Harper sits down with Troy Kirby, talking about how to truly sell a season ticket holder, ensuring quality as well as quantity, about training a staff, and his future plans, which now include The University of Oregon’s DuckTix, where Harper has agreed to join as General Manager of UO’s first out-bound ticket sales initiative.
