From The Editor's Desk

What Exactly Are You Pitching?

I’ve had vendors try to pitch me, but who never get to the point. They are so wrapped up in the dialogue of selling, that they forget about the product that they are selling.

Frankly, its a waste of time and energy.

Rarely have I had vendors ask what I plan to do with the product. Rarely do they want to hear from me on what uses the product has for me, and why.

This seems like a short-fall scenario, based on the lack of understanding. The customer has to actually want to use the product, in order for it to have enough value to be sold.
